Content Writer

If you are someone who can write compelling narratives and craft stories out of thin air, are equally comfortable with everything in the spectrum spanning copy on one end, and long form on the other - you should read further.

We (Growtomation) are looking to make our first hire in Content Writing / Marketing (exp: 3+ years in B2B/SaaS space) to help us uplift our narrative, content style, and enable Marketing as a function which has been long-time pending. If you read between the lines (pun-intended), being the first hire will naturally give you immense opportunity to work on new things and grow very quickly. :)

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver top notch content for Growtomation (and some of their clients) across landing pages, blog posts, various site pages, ebooks, infographics and the occasional video script. Over and above what you write, you may have to manage a team of freelance writers and content vendors to extract the same output.
  • Develop content in sync with SEO best practices optimising content for user comprehension and great engagement.
    Contribute to communications that go out to users, which may range from lifecycle emails and notifications to one-off communication or even newsletters.
  • Your typical day will include:Creating and refining content for high stickiness beyond mere words and images.
  • Working with remote vendors/freelancers, sharing feedback, and following up on deliverables.
  • Assessing the quality of content via the lenses of web analytics and SEO.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years experience in content writing for an online/digital business; prior B2B SaaS experience is a HUGE plus.
  • Proficiency with all things written - be it killer copy or epic long form.
  • Ability to quickly research and synthesise a compelling narrative.
  • Creative thinking on your feet - you’ll need to do this a lot!
